I step off the plane, my heart beats fast
Eager to explore, my eyes are cast
On the city of love, so grand and bright
A world of wonder, both day and night
I walk down the streets, lined with cafes
The scent of fresh bread, a heavenly haze
I stop at a boulangerie, buy a croissant
And find a spot, to sit and chant
The river Seine, so blue and wide
A majestic sight, I cannot hide
I take a boat, to tour the town
To see the sights, to wander around
The Eiffel Tower, so tall and grand
A symbol of love, across the land
I take the stairs, to reach the top
To see the view, my senses stop
The Louvre Museum, so vast and old
A treasure trove, of stories untold
I see the art, so rich and bold
The Mona Lisa, a sight to behold
The food, so rich, so full of flavor
From croissants, to crepes, to French savor
I dine in cafes, so quaint and fine
The cuisine of Paris, so divine
Paris, a city, of romance and light
A place of dreams, that takes flight
My first trip, a journey of delight
I leave with memories, forever bright.
